Four microbiology experts from mainland China have been selected as members of the American Academy of Microbiology in 2022: Yuelong Shu, Ph.D., School of Public Health (Shenzhen), Sun Yat-sen University;Shu Yuelong is currently the deputy Director of National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, director of national Influenza Center, member of asia-pacific Influenza Commission and expert group on Influenza Prevention and Control, Ministry of Health.Since April 2017, he has been dean of school of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen University (Shenzhen).On April 23, 2021, he was selected into the effective list of academician co-selection of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2021.The following awards: 1.
