Taiwan has 43 new confirmed cases of COVID-19

Taipei, February 6 (Xinhua) — By Xu Ruiqing and He ZiliTaiwan’s epidemic command Center announced on Thursday that it had reported 43 new COVID-19 cases, including 14 from mainland China and 29 from overseas, with no deaths among the confirmed cases.The command center said there were two males and 12 females aged from their teens to their 70s, including seven in Taoyuan City, four in Kaohsiung City and three in New Taipei City.Among the new arrivals, 19 were males and 10 were females aged between less than 10 years old and over 60 years old, with the largest number coming from the United States.According to the command center, a total of 5,756,263 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Taiwan so far, of which 19,144 have been confirmed.
